Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano (about 1h30), then the Shinano Railway to Myoko Kogen (about 45 min). From Myoko Kogen station it's roughly 15 minutes by local bus or taxi to Akakura.
Take the train or limousine bus into Tokyo Station, then follow the route above. Allow most of a day door to door.
Myoko Kogen IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, then about 10 minutes to Akakura. There is parking beside the shop.
Akakura Onsen is small and walkable. We're a few minutes on foot from the base of the Akakura Onsen ski area.
