NINJAMyoko
A traveler walking light through a snowy village

Travel light

Put the bags down.

Store them for a few hours or a few days — or send them ahead to the airport and see Tokyo with your hands free.

The situation

Check-out is 10am. Your flight is in four days.

Almost everyone hits the same wall. You want one more morning on the mountain but you're already checked out. Or you're flying home from Tokyo and the last thing you want is a ski bag on the Shinkansen, up the stairs at Ueno, and around Asakusa in the rain.

So leave it with us. We'll hold it, or we'll send it to your airport and it will be waiting when you get there.

Four times NINJA can save your day.

Swipe

Before check-in

You've arrived, your room isn't ready, and the snow is falling. Drop the bags and go up.

After check-out

One more run before the bus. No reason to carry everything with you.

While you've got the car

Free up the trunk for the day and keep the cabin comfortable.

Tokyo before your flight

Ship the big bags to the airport and travel the last few days with a day pack.

Drop off at least 5 days before your flight

This is not us being cautious. Heavy snow closes roads in Myoko and delays every courier in the region. Three days is not enough margin. Five days is.

What we'll need from you

  • Your name, phone number and address in Japan
  • Drop-off date
  • Number and type of items (suitcases, ski bags)
  • Flight date and departure time
  • Flight number
  • Airport and terminal

How it works

Five steps, one of which is a message.

  1. Message us first

WhatsApp with your dates, what you're storing, and whether it's going to an airport. Storage is often possible same-day, but delivery always needs advance notice.

  2. Bring it to NINJA

Drop it at the counter. If it's going to an airport, it must be at least five days before your flight.

  3. Fill in the details

Name, contact, contents — plus flight details if we're shipping.

  4. We store or ship it

Stored on site, or handed to the courier the same day.

  5. Collect it

At our counter, or at the airport baggage service counter on your departure day.

Cancellation

Storage can be canceled free of charge any time before drop-off. Once an item has been handed to the courier for airport delivery, the shipping fee can no longer be refunded.

FAQ

Luggage questions

How far in advance do I need to drop off for airport delivery?

At least five days before your flight. Snow regularly delays couriers in this region, and three days does not leave enough margin. Storage without delivery can usually be arranged the same day.

Which airports can you deliver to?

Narita, Haneda and Kansai.

How long can you store my bags?

From a few hours to several days. Just tell us when you'll be back.

What can't you store?

Valuables such as cash and passports, fragile or precision items, fresh food, and dangerous goods like flammables, gas canisters and loose batteries.

How does luggage delivery work?

Drop your bags with us and we photograph and log them, then hand them to the courier for your airport. You collect them from the airport's baggage service counter on your departure day.

FAQ

Tell us when you're coming.

A message is enough. Table, car, bags, or just a question about Myoko — we'll take it from there.
